About Lake Love

In March of 2020 everything changed, for everyone. I was working part-time as a Physician Assistant in family medicine and when I was suddenly furloughed, I really wanted something else to do. This is when I dusted off an old sewing machine and I taught myself how to sew face masks. While I loved it, it did not allow me to be creative. 

Mothers day weekend I got to see my friend Neely of "Made by Neely". When I went into her shop in Bethany Oklahoma and saw her earrings made of clay, I thought this may be exactly what I needed. She was gracious, and through many Marco Polos, and texts guided me through the process. 

So here I am. Loving every minute of creating, but still trying to figure out how this fits into my life. I have 3 kids, and I went back to work at a new family medicine clinic in September. 

Ultimately my goal is to have a more collaborative line of earrings after the Holidays, with an updated website and a more streamlined process. But for now, I am posting all of the earrings I have made along the way.
